General Hospital fans take Molly's side as Kristina refuses to terminate surrogacy rights at final hour

General Hospital 's Kristina is not about to turn over her pregnancy rights that quickly.

Originally, since Molly couldn't conceive a child on her own, Kristina agreed to be a surrogate for Molly and TJ's child on the soap opera . However, she's now having second thoughts and refused to sign away her rights which means that Molly can't formally adopt the kid. At first, Kristina tries to play it cool with Molly, looking to talk out their differences.

Despite being weeks away from delivering the baby , Kristina didn't think the timing is right anymore. She said: "Let's just talk about this for a minute, okay? I just don't think it's a good idea, Molly, for me to sign the papers right now."

Kristina then dropped her issue with the adoption: Molly and TJ's relationship status. She said: "There's issues at play right now that weren't happening when we originally agreed to this ... You and TJ. What if you break up?"

Lately, with tensions on the rise, Kristina thinks that the rock nature of their relationship doesn't make them ready to be parents. However, fans online clocked Kristina, siding immediately with Molly. "Ooooh! Molly, dem fighting words!" wrote one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter, as they hyped up Molly's ability to stand up for herself.

Another fan said that Kristina is "so trifling," telling Molly to 'drag' her. "No lie detected from Molly," said a third fan. After all, Molly did make a dirty dig at Kristina about her relationship status.

She ranted: "So what? According to you, now TJ and I are going to break up because we fight? That's what couples do. They fight and they make up and they wind up stronger for it, but you wouldn't know anything about that because you have never, not one single time, been able to keep anybody around to form a real relationship.

"All you have is a string of embarrassingly misguided attempts with men, a crush that drove your teacher out of town, and a messed up infatuation with a woman who was so ashamed of being gay that she was still in the closet until her mother caused a national uproar by publicly outing her. Look in the mirror, Kristina. You are not equipped to be a mother. You can barely take care of yourself."

Fans were over Kristina as one said: "Kristina is insane. She and Ali have been together a few months, while T.J. and Molly have built a life together for years. The more stable homelife is with Molly and T.J., that child's father."
