BEST BUY is changing its color scheme in a move to modernize for customers.

The tech retailer announced the update to its iconic blue and yellow palette on Tuesday.

Moving forward, Best Buy said that it will be "embracing change," and that starts with a fresh tagline and fresh color additions to enhance its appearance for shoppers, per a press release.

Rather than focusing on the role of being tech "experts," the retailer said it recognizes that customers are more familiar with phones and gadgets than ever before.

Instead, they seek to help them discover new options and be available whenever shoppers might need advice.

The emphasis on discovery led Best Buy to its new tagline of "Imagine that."

"The world of discovery we're building is centered on asking our customers, 'What if?' In finding the answer, we're introducing a new tagline, 'imagine that,'" the brand wrote in the release.

    DIFFERENT VIEW

The "refreshed" color scheme was then a perfect addition to the tagline's vision.

Magenta, red, and teal will be added to the blue and yellow for a different mixture that Best Buy customers have never seen.

"Along with our new tagline, we're giving our brand a modern look and feel, which will be phased in over time," the release read.

"We'll introduce a refreshed color palette. Our iconic blue and yellow aren't going anywhere, but we're adding hints of magenta, teal, and read," it continued.

Tags on thousands of Best Buy products will see the color update soon, along with a new version of the tag itself.

"Each of these components brings to life the energy and vibrancy that is discovering new possibilities," Best Buy noted.

The new era for the company also comes with changes to its mobile application, YouTube channel, website, and more.

    EXPERIENCE IT ALL

Best Buy's app was recently revamped to offer customers a more personalized experience with upgraded Digital Wallet features, alerts, and push notifications.

The alerts and notifications will better help shoppers find exclusive member offerings, deals, and sales.

This new world of discovery is personal to every customer, their passions, and the moments in life that matter most.

Its YouTube channel will also have a "lineup of video content focused on innovators, new products, discovery, tech tips, buying guides, and more."

The brand promised at least 500 videos by the end of 2024.

Store locations are also getting "experiential" experiences where customers can discover more about and test out brands like GoPro, Starlink, Tesla, and more.

Best Buy also confirmed another major change recently for its stores based in Canada.

The company will introduce at least 167 brand new "Express" model stores in the country by the end of 2024.

A Best Buy employee also recently revealed the way shoppers at any location can get returned merchandise for less.
