Dion took a two-year hiatus after receiving a diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome , but she proved she still had vocal chops during the ceremony.

Dion took Paris by storm in a beautiful black Dior dress. The puff-sleeve midi dress from the designer’s 2023 collection had a sophisticated edge with a flared skirt. Dion completed the look with cap-toe mesh slingback heels. She wore small hoop earrings but kept the rest of her look extremely simple. Dion’s makeup looked fresh and not flashy, and she sliced her hair back in a low bun.

On July 24, 2024, she posted about her return to Paris on X . “Every time I return to Paris, I remember there’s so much beauty and joy still to experience in the world,” she captioned the post, which showed her at the Louvre Museum. “I love Paris, and I’m so happy to be back! The tracksuit had Dior’s monogram in blue and beige all over the top and bottoms. The V-neck was navy, black, and white, while the pants had matching racing stripes.

Dion looked comfortable as she cheered with fans in the tracksuit. She paired the look with sunglasses and platform white sneakers. Dion kept her hair simple with a slicked-back low bun.

Céline Dion looks happier than ever to be in Paris supporting the Olympics. And she’s also always happy to represent her favorite designers. She spoke to Vogue France in April 2024 about how she used her first real paycheck as a performer to buy clothing for herself.

“I was very lucky because I had 13 brothers and sisters, and I got everyone’s hand-me-downs,” Dion explained. “When I got my first paycheck, my first paid television appearances, I bought clothes for myself and dressed myself. With my first successes, I bought a house for myself and my husband, and for my parents and some family members too. After my first album in English, I was able to buy clothes by designers, and I started to read fashion magazines.”

Dion explained that Karl Lagerfeld later complimented her. “I treated myself to a Lagerfeld jacket in the same way that people buy themselves diamonds,” she added.
