Multiple jailed, cocaine and guns seized in Florence County narcotics investigation

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two people were arrested Thursday as part of a monthlong Florence County narcotics investigation that yielded cocaine and firearms, authorities said.

Timothy Lamont McFadden was charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. Kadeem McFadden was also charged with possession of marijuana. Kadeem has been previously arrested, including in 2021 on three counts of attempted murder.

Deputies conducted a search warrant in the 800 block of Cow Pasture Road in the Lake City area, where they found a “quantity” of cocaine, marijuana, six firearms and about $4,000 in cash.

On the same street and same day as part of a separate investigation, deputies conducted a search warrant that yielded crack cocaine, Adderall and two firearms.

In that case, Robert Dwayne Ham was charged with three counts of distribution of crack cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The McFaddens and Ham were booked into the Florence County Detention Center.
