Former Wendy's Employee Shares A Gross Secret

Wendy's chili can be ordered as a side in any meal, and it's described on the menu as "positively delicious," but according to customers, that's up for debate.

One Wendy's customer decided to post a live review of Wendy's chili on her TikTok page, which of course drew many users to the comment section to share their thoughts on whether the chili is delicious or disgusting, and after some fierce debate, one former employee decided to settle things once and for all in a single comment:

"Ex Wendy's worker here, the chili is made from grill scraps and burgers that didn't sell after a set amount of time," they posted. Yuck!

And even worse, another current employee corroborated this! "Yup, we just take patties that aren't sold in 5 minutes and grind them up," the comment reads.

Customers Are Disgusted By Wendy's Chili Secret

This revelation from users @StanleyChesterfield and @Shawty_Duwop drew a lot of attention from other users who responded with their own thoughts. "That might just be the most disgusting thing I've ever heard," one person wrote. "What even are grill scraps?"

"Wow, I knew I didn't like this for a reason!" said another.

"I prefer to take the hot dog approach to this new revelation," one customer said. "I don't need to know how it's made, just let me enjoy it! Ignorance is bliss!"

"Wow I can't imagine all the greasy, gross chunks of who knows what that's in that chili," one comment reads. "Catch me never ordering that again."

    "Horrifying!" another comment says.

"Welp, there goes my go-to side order," a final user wrote. "Gross!"
