SNK released a new Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves trailer on Friday. The gameplay video showcases the returning character Billy Kane, and fans can check it out in English or Japanese.
What was in the new Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves trailer?
Today’s new Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves trailer gave viewers a good look at Billy Kane’s moves in the upcoming fighting game. As fans would expect, his unique three-segmented staff and fire-based powers return, which the trailer shows him using to take revenge on protagonist Terry Bogard. Chris Sharpes provides the British crime boss’ English voice lines, with Masaki Masaki voicing him in Japanese.
SNK introduced Billy Kane as the right hand of crime boss Geese Howard in 1992’s Fatal Fury 2. He’s 40 by the time of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and now leads the organization after Howard’s death. Despite already assuming control of the late kingpin’s organization (the Howard Connection),” says SNK, “Billy nevertheless finds himself brooding over how to lead his bereaved family of associates into a new era. Amidst all the darkness and turmoil, at least one thing is still crystal clear: he has a bone to pick with Terry Bogard, the man who took his revered master’s life in the first place.”
SNK’s latest Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves trailer brings the list of confirmed playable characters to 13. Billy joins returning characters Terry Bogard, Rock Howard, Hotaru Futaba, Tizoc, Marco Rodrigues, B. Jenet, Joe Higashi, and Kain R. Heinlein, and the new characters Vox Reaper and Preecha.
