Snoop Dogg thankfully didn’t drop it like it’s hot.

On Friday, the American rapper partook in the walking of the Olympic torch before the Opening Ceremony in Paris.

The 52-year-old, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr., held the lit torch in his left hand while flashing peace signs, waving and blowing kisses to an impassioned crowd surrounding his path as he walked through French suburb Saint-Denis.

He even managed to hit some nifty dance moves in gilded shoes before passing the flame to another Olympic official.

While he won’t be competing in the Games himself, Snoop will be prominently featured as a commentator for NBC in his first official year in the position.

He’ll join Mike Tirico and other recognizable analysts like Kevin Hart, Alex Cooper and Leslie Jones for the network.

According to NBC, Broadus “will attend games, visit with athletes and their friends and families while also exploring city landmarks,” with his reports being featured on primetime TV and Peacock.

“It’s going to be a great experience because the way I speak it, you tend to want to pay attention to it because it’s going to be something different, and it’s going to be a little bit more insightful because I have spent time with these athletes and some of their family members as well,” Broadus said.

The iconic rapper has already gotten active in meeting and practicing with several American teams.

On Wednesday, Broadus held a saber with the American fencing team and got lunch with Team USA’s rugby representatives.

Two days later, he honed his judo skills on the mats.

Other celebrities who have graced the Olympics include Pharrell, Serena Williams, Spike Lee, Zendaya, Angel Reese and Tyla.

With Broadus having blazed a different type of cylindrical object than he’s used to, the opening ceremony is good to keep going on.

The official start time for the worldwide celebration is 1:30 p.m. ET on Friday.
