Now and then, a dog comes along that just knows what he wants and goes after it without apology. This is the case with Gary the English Bulldog who desperately wants his fuzzy bed, despite the fact that Mom said absolutely not!
In a July 23 TikTok video shared by his TikTok account, @garythebulldog2 , Gary doesn't care about the rules—they're made for breaking! Watch as he takes Mom and Grandma on an adventure all in the name of love (of his bed)!
"We put it on the hot tub and he still dragged it down! Grandma tried to help and he went for it," the caption says. In the video, Gary drags his bed by the mouth outside, completely ignoring all the orders to leave it alone.
"It's not a toy!" Mom shouts, even putting the bed out of reach on the hot tub. Gary doesn't let that stop him, arching up on his hind legs to grab the bed and run off again. By the time they catch him and take the bed from his grip, Gary shows off his epic leaping skills, excitedly hopping into the air to chomp it away from them.
In the end, Mom and Grandma win the bed back, but his fans love his valiant effort.
"I love that he runs faster when you yell his name…," one person said. "Interior design is Gary’s new career venture. But he does it with a cuteness," another wrote. "He wants to sleep al fresco Mum, Grandma promised him he could," another added.

A Bulldog's Personality Is One-of-a-Kind
Like Gary, English Bulldogs are known to be little hams who can, at times, be a bit of a handful for the sake of their own entertainment. Though opinionated and sometimes stubborn, PetMD explains English Bulldogs have a reputation of being lazy, but that's not always the case. Look at Gary! If they have the right stimulation, they're good, but if they're bored, they might exhibit destructive behaviors—like playing a fun game of chase with their favorite bed!
Generally, Bulldogs are docile, affectionate, and love bugs, but they have big personalities so they need the right kind of home to thrive. Socialization and training are key to keep things on the right path with these funny little pups or they'll be running the house, not you! They know what they like and what they don't and they're not afraid to let you know.
As for Gary, maybe next time he'll get away with his crimes. If not, it's still a hilarious sight to see.
