    A'Ja Wilson is representing her country and making new friends at the Paris Olympics.

    The Las Vegas Aces star and two-time WNBA MVP was taking in the atmosphere at the opening ceremonies on Friday, including an unexpected meeting with another breakout star.

    Team USA shared a video on Instagram showing Wilson meeting tennis ace and flag bearer Coco Gauff in Paris during the opening ceremonies. The pair shared a hug and the 20-year-old Gauff appeared awestruck.

    "I love you so much!" Gauff said. "You're so inspirational."

    The two then posed for a photo together, with Gauff sharing some common ground with the Aces star.

    "I used to play a little basketball, but I wasn't good at it," Gauff said.

    The video was a huge hit with fans, including some who said the heartwarming interaction brought them to tears.

    "Yep im going to cry," one person posted on X .

    Wilson is seeking a second gold medal after helping lead Team USA to a title at the Tokyo Olympics, while this is the first trip to the Summer Games for Gauff, the reigning U.S. Open winner.
