The Olympics kicked off with quite a bang on Friday night after a spectacular opening ceremony.

Team USA took center stage as many participating athletes boarded a boat that cruised along the Seine River amid a picturesque Parisian backdrop. It was truly the stuff of dreams.

Of course, the USA Basketball Men's National Team was part of the group, with Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James serving as the country's flagbearer alongside tennis great Coco Gauff.

Both LeBron and Gauff stood out among the pack with their custom-tailored Ralph Lauren jackets. The rest of the American contingent donned navy blue jackets, which made sure that the two flag-bearers were visibly more prominent.

Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry is proud to be part of the LeBron-led national squad. At the same time, however, the GOAT shooter could not help but criticize James for the latter's distinctive outfit.

"The only one that got a different jacket is Bron Bron right there with his flag-bearer jacket," Curry said while eyeing the Lakers talisman from a distance. "Look at him. Look at him."

It's not that Curry is jealous of LeBron's incredible honor here, but I'm pretty sure the Warriors superstar would not have turned down the opportunity to replace James.
