KINGS COUNTY, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – More areas are going to be impacted by the California High-Speed Rail Project in Kings County, the California High-Speel Rail Authority announced.

Officials say intermittent traffic impacts will be seen along Highway 43, between Grangeville and Lacey Boulevards in Kings County, as well as between Pickerell and Oregon Avenues, beginning July 29 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Aug. 4.

At the same time, officials say intermittent lane closures are expected along Highway 198 between Sixth Avenue and Highway 43 in Kings County for ongoing work at the Hanford Viaduct. Work will begin July 30 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. through Aug. 2.

Drivers may experience delays due to this, and officials say construction activities and schedules are subject to change.
