All eyes are on Katie Ledecky in Paris.
The American swimming sensation already has cemented her status as one of the greatest Olympians of all time . The freestyle specialist is one of the most decorated American female swimmers of all time, entering the 2024 Paris Olympics with seven gold medals to her name.
Ledecky has a chance to pass Jenny Thompson's record for the most Olympic gold medals from a female swimmer. Thompson's eight currently hold the top spot, but with the Washington, D.C. native set to participate in four events, there is a good chance Ledecky's name will be a top the all-time medal table.
At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Ledecky earned two golds and two silvers, bringing her total Olympic medal count to 10. How many will she win in Paris?

When is Katie Ledecky swimming next?
Ledecky is expected to compete in four different events. That means she will frequent television sets during the swimming portion of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
She will be competing in the heats for each event, which will start at 5 a.m. ET on their scheduled mornings. The live broadcast will be carried by the USA Network, while NBC will air replays later in the afternoon.
When she swims in the finals each day, NBC will broadcast the races, starting at 2:30 p.m. each afternoon.
