POWDER's Ian Greenwood, the regular contributor to this weekly column, is still off on vacation.

Ella Boyd filled in last week , but I'll be taking the reins for the 14th edition of Keep Your Clips Up, the only digital column committed to keeping you entertained with the best skiing clips and videos from across the internet.

Alex Ferreira Throws Down (For The Kids)

Did any competitive freeskier have a better season than Alex Ferreira last year? No. The answer is no.

Ferreira won all five World Cup halfpipe events, nabbed a Gold Medal at Winter X Games 2024, and took first at Dew Tour to secure the 'Perfect Season'.Ferreira took first place at seven of seven events he competed in last season, for anybody keeping score at home.

He's keeping the good vibes going this summer by making a cameo at Woodward Copper's summer snow camp. Tap below to play.

Snowbasin Looks Back Before Looking Ahead

The International Olympic Committee announced that the Winter Olympics will return to Salt Lake City in 2034, and that Snowbasin Resort will once again host the men's and women's downhill events.

On July 26th, 2024, the folks at Snowbasin cracked open the vault and published a NBC Sports clip that proceeded the 2002 Winter Olympics. Bob Costas previews Snowbasin's 'Grizzly Downhill' aided by a flurry of late-90s/early aughts sound effects and graphics. The clip was a hit of nostalgia I didn't know I needed. Tap to play.

    What In Tarnation?

Street skiing is fun, until you realize cities are flat. Most skiers turn to bungees, tow ropes, vehicles, or other practical ways to build up speed before a feature, but what about a horse?

Watch as Bailey Lahure does his best horse-assisted trick in front of Toronto's Scotiabank Arena. Yee. Haw. (Tap to play)

Summer Is Better Below The Equator

The months of June-September are alright, but wouldn't you rather be skiing couloirs on near-record-setting snowpack in South America instead?

One of the benefits of being a professional skier, like Adrià Millan Pla, is that you can (hypothetically) ski all season long. Watch below as the GoPro Line of the Year winner laces a fast-past descent on a steep and challenging line somewhere in the Andes.

Sam Kuch Lays Down A Descent to Remember

Matchstick Productions released a video about Sam Kuch a few of seasons ago titled, 'Is This The Best Skier In The World?'. As intended, the video stirred controversy amongst core skiers who each felt that their opinion mattered more than the next.

I'm not saying Sam Kuch is the best skier in the world, but I can't confidently say that he's not the best skier in the world. Does that make sense? Tap to watch the clip below. You'll see what I mean.

Well folks, that's my guest contribution to Keep Your Clips up. I hope Ian is enjoying his time off, but I can't wait to have his voice back here on POWDER next week.
