Vehicle goes over embankment in Quiet Dell, one transported

QUIET DELL, W.Va. (WBOY) — One person has been transported following a single vehicle accident on Buckhannon Pike.

The Harrison County 911 log states that departments were alerted at 8:57 a.m. on Saturday to a vehicle accident with unknown injuries near the intersection of Round Water Drive in Quiet Dell.

When emergency crews arrived on scene there was one vehicle “on its top over the embankment 35 feet” according to the public narrative. One person was transported by ground to the United Hospital Center. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

Nutter Fort and Stonewood fire departments, along with Anmoore EMS, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and the West Virginia Division of Highways responded to this incident.
