(WJW) – An Air Quality Advisory has been issued for most of Northeast Ohio.

The advisory for ground-level ozone was issued by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) for Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage and Summit counties.

The advisory is for ground-level ozone and is in effect through Sunday, July 28.

Air quality levels may be unhealthy for sensitive groups, which includes infants and children, people with pre-existing conditions, pregnant women, and people over 65.

Here’s what NOACA recommends you do to help:

    • Drive less
    • Fill your gas tank after sunset
    • Don’t idle your engine
    • Wait a day to mow
