Welcome the newest addition of Team USA to this year’s Olympic Games!

The Advocate Kids Instagram page honored our athletes with adorable photos of its NICU babies sporting Summer Olympics gear. In a precious carousel, pics show the tiny fans holding flags, wearing red, white, and blue, and more.

NICU Babies: Little Warriors, Big Fight

If you are doubting these little NICU babies ‘ ability to work like an athlete, think again. As Advocate Kids wrote in its caption, “Small but mighty, these little champions have already overcome so many hurdles in their first few weeks and months of life.” These babies may have not been handed the easiest cards, but they fight hard every single day. All while looking insanely cute.

The caption goes on to add, “The Advocate Children’s Hospital team has awarded them gold medals for resilience, bravery, and cuteness.” These are the types of medal ceremonies we all want to see and be a part of.

    New Additions to Team USA

While they may not be competing in the Olympics, these NICU babies are clearly showing their support for Team USA.

These photos are such a nice way to celebrate our athletes and all of the NICU babies who are fighting. The public is loving them, as well. Some of the comments read, “Love this so much! Strong little fighters!” Also, “Oh my! How adorable.”

Along with many other positive comments, besides the hundreds of people who liked the post, I am sure Team USA loves the support, as well.
