Tom Izzo listed among top 10 active coaches in new The Field of 68 rankings

Tom Izzo is a legend in the college basketball world, but is still he one of the best current coaches in the game?

After a few rough years (for Michigan State standards), Izzo is no longer at the very top of active coaches, according to the Field of 68. But he is still one of the top 10 coaches in the game.

The Field of 68 put Izzo at No. 10 in their recently released top 10 active coaches in college basketball. Of Big Ten coaches, Izzo is only behind Purdue’s Matt Painter, who’s at No. 7 on the list.
