Target Is Selling a 'Perfect Summer Staple' $18 V-Neck Tank Similar to a Revolve Style Over 5x the Price

A sweater tank top is a great staple to own in your closet because you can easily layer it and use it year-round. And luckily, Target just dropped a sweater tank that is versatile while still being great for summer—plus, it looks just like a Revolve style that’s over five times the price. Talk about a win-win!

We’re talking about Target’s Women's V-Neck Pullover Sweater Tank by their women’s apparel brand, A New Day. It’s currently $18 and is still considered a new item on their site. It has a higher v-neck and straps that are a bit thicker than spaghetti straps, along with a ribbed hem and a v-neck in the back as well. This v-neck pullover sweater tank is fitted and shorter than a regular top—the site says that it hits below the waist and it’s not advertised as a crop top, but some reviews note that it feels kind of like a cropped length.

Women's V-Neck Pullover Sweater Tank - A New Day , $18 at Target

The piece comes in four colors: rust (orange-brown), black, dark gray and oatmeal (off-white). Its material is advertised as a “lightweight shaker fabric” made out of 72% viscose and 28% nylon, and it comes in a wide range of sizes, from XS to 4X.

There aren’t a ton of reviews on it as of this reporting, but the positive ones are enticing.

“Perfect Summer Staple,” one person titled their review. They went on to say that it “fits perfectly” for their size and isn’t “too cropped” or “too tight/form-fitting.” They also noted that the “material is not too heavy and really soft!”

Another shopper wrote that they thought it was "form-fitted and short,” but “overall” had a “nice material."

Target's sweater tank top is very similar to the John & Jenn by Line’s Pete Tank sold at Revolve for $99. This one has a bit more texture to it than Target’s tank top—it’s a cable knit fabric—but it has similar straps and a v-neckline. And, like Target’s sweater tank, it has a v-neck in the back and a ribbed hem. This one is made with 100% cotton and comes in four colors: Chalk (cream), Light Blue, Natural (beige) and Playboy (pink).

So, if you’re looking for a nicer tank top you can play with and dress up or down (and for a good price!), Target’s Women's V-Neck Pullover Sweater Tank by A New Day is definitely worth checking out.
