Delaware may be small, but its ability to produce Summer Olympians ranks high.

LiveSportsonTV.com, a company providing schedules for TV sports and streaming, conducted a study analyzing the birth states of U.S. Olympians to find out which states have the largest representation at this year's Summer Games. Each state was weighted by population, showing which produced the highest number of athletes.

Around 10,500 athletes from 206 different National Olympic Committees will compete in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Of the number representing Team USA, Delaware boasts the sixth-highest ratio of Olympians to state population, according to the study.

Delaware is contributing three athletes to Team USA: Malacchi Esdale in rugby, Megumi Field in artistic swimming and Erin Gemmell in swimming.
