An overwhelming majority of registered voters who answered a new survey said they believed Vice President Kamala Harris was responsible in some way for helping to run cover for President Joe Biden’s declining health.

In fact, 92 percent of respondents to a YouGov/ Times of London poll released this week said Harris was at least partially behind efforts to conceal a decline in the president’s well-being .

A survey of 1,170 voters conducted from July 22 to July 23 who said they believed there was an effort to shield Biden’s status from the public were asked, “To what extent, if at all, were the following involved in covering up Biden’s health?”

Culprits for the alleged coverup included Harris, the media, Biden’s White House staff, the president’s family, and congressional Democrats.

Sixty-eight percent said they believed Harris had “a great deal” to do with covering for her boss while another 24 percent said the vice president was either “somewhat” or “a little” bit behind keeping Biden’s health status under wraps.

The remaining eight percent of respondents said they were either unsure about Harris’ role in such a coverup or that she had nothing to do with running interference for her boss.

Eighty-eight percent of respondents assigned blame to the media while 97 percent blamed Biden’s staffers.

The same survey also found that Harris was the favorite of voters to replace Biden on the ballot after he dropped out of the race last Sunday and endorsed his vice president.

Fifty percent of respondents said Harris was the “best choice” to replace the 81-year-old while Sen. Joe Manchin (I-WV) came in second with 10 percent support.

Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer came in last place with the support of three percent of respondents. Others who received votes were Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro , Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom , and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg .

Twenty-two percent of respondents said they preferred another candidate. Only 17 percent of the poll’s respondents said they disapproved of Biden’s decision to exit the race.

YouGov/Times of London poll reported a margin of error at +/- 3.2 percentage points.
