PARIS (KNWA/KFTA) — The Olympic Games are officially underway in Paris and nearly two dozen athletes with ties to the Natural State are competing for medals.
Over the last century, 33 athletes with Arkansas ties have won gold at the Olympics dating back to John Boles in 1924, who won two golds in shooting in the Paris Olympics.
Other Arkansas natives have won gold medals in everything from swimming to athletics to wrestling.
