After LeBron James made history as the first male basketball player to be an Olympic flag bearer for the United States, fans quickly gave him the nickname "LeCaptain America" and "Captain LeMerica." Sure enough, NBA superstar and fellow USA teammate Devin Booker liked these nicknames.

Besides, by the looks of it, Booker was one of the first people to give such nickname to James.

During the opening ceremony, Booker captured the moment when LeBron was carrying the flag alongside tennis sensation Coco Gauff. While the Los Angeles Lakers forward was looking around as they paraded through the Seine River, the Phoenix Suns guard could be heard teasing James.

"That boy standing like Captain America, that boy got posture!… Stop playing with Bron Bron!" Devin Booker said in the video.

Clearly, LeBron James took a lot of pride in being the flag bearer for the United States. He knows it was a huge honor, and so he made sure to do it properly.

Indeed, the aura he had while leading Team USA's march exuded the vibes of a true leader.
