There were a number of celebrities who passed away within the past week, including two notable actresses: Shelley Duvall and Shannen Doherty. Shelley Duvall passed away on Thursday July 11th at her home in Blanco, Texas. The cause of death was complications from diabetes and news of her death was confirmed by her partner Dan Gilroy.

Well, the first thing that you really have to note here is rather simple: This is going to be a big month for the Paramount+ project! While it is highly doubtful than an exact premiere date for the project will be unveiled, it does feel like there’s a good chance we will get an approximate one. Beyond just that, it would not be all that big of a shock in the event that we hear more about the cast. Filming will be kicking off in Europe this month, and Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo should be joined by at least a few other actors. Most importantly of them, of course, will be Tony and Ziva’s daughter Tali.

Just when you thought that Dexter was officially done for good in the present day, think again based on the latest news. Tonight, the folks at Paramount+ confirmed that a sequel series titled Dexter: Resurrection is going to be coming up. Not only that, but Michael C. Hall is poised to star as Dexter Morgan! It will be set in the present day, so the question then becomes how in the world the character is still alive. Didn’t he die at the end of Dexter: New Blood? Did someone magically revive him? All of this is bonkers … or is it? (Technically, what we really know is that Paramount+ wants money, and the series has managed to draw an even bigger audience since its arrival on Netflix.)
