Khloé Kardashian Throws 18th Birthday Party For Tristan Thompson’s Brother Amari: ‘You Have Changed Our Lives In The Best Possible Ways, Thank You for Being An Angel To Us All’

How sweet! Khloé Kardashian threw a beautiful 18th birthday party for her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson ’s brother Amari Thompson .

Amari is Tristan’s younger brother, the youngest of the four Thompsons. Amari is also under the custody of his older brother. According to court documents, Tristan Thompson filed to take over as legal guardian of his brother, who has epilepsy (a neurological disorder that causes seizures ), in January 2023 — following the unexpected death of their mother, Andrea Thompson . At the time, Amari was only 16. On February 26, 2024, a judge in a Los Angeles County Superior Court granted the NBA player guardianship of his younger brother.

Before this, however, Tristan Thompson and Amari Thompson, for a while, were living with Khloé Kardashian. That is until the couple split, seemingly for good. In June 2023, Khloé Kardashian said she and Tristan Thompson had broken up after learning that he had cheated again, this time fathering a child with another woman while still together in March 2021. In January 2022, Thompson publicly apologized to Kardashian for the “heartache and humiliation.”

Despite the couple no longer being together, the socialite is still very much involved in Amari’s life, and he’s very much in the lives of her and Thompson’s children, True Thompson and Tatum Thompson , and the lives of the other Kardashian-Jenner kids and offspring.

In the Season 3 finale of ‘ The Kardashians ’ on Hulu, it was revealed during the show that Amari has “the most severe type of epilepsy.” On the show, Khloé Kardashian said, “He has the worst type of seizures you can have. And he was having so many … (previously) that it’s caused such severe brain damage. That’s why he can’t walk or talk or any of that stuff.”

While taking to Instagram on Saturday (July 27), Khloé Kardashian shared a few images of her and Tristan Thompson’s brother Amari Thompson, along with photos of him and her children and nieces and nephews.

Captioning the post, Kardashian said, “Happy 18th Birthday sweet angel Amari!! I can’t believe you are 18! You have changed our lives in the best possible ways! Thank you for being an angel to us all! You are the sweetest, silliest, and most loving young man. I hope you feel how much we love and adore you our sweet angel Amari .”

In the comments, Kardashian received tons of love and respect from people admiring her generous heart and rare personality.
