Simone Biles is expected to be the top gymnast at the 2024 Olympics. The most decorated gymnast of all time is returning to the Summer Games for a third time after she was hampered by the twisties at the 2021 Olympics.

Now, Biles is returning to the world's biggest stage hoping to do what she couldn't in Tokyo: win a gold medal.

The 27-year-old is favored to guide the USA to several gold medals in Paris. She is expected to win the all-around gold and should help the country finish atop the team competition for the third time in four years.

But in which other events is Biles participating? Here's what to know about her plans for the 2024 Olympics and how to watch all of her events live.

    Simone Biles' Olympics schedule

Biles' Olympics will begin on Sunday, July 28 when she and the rest of Team USA will participate in qualifying. That round will determine whether the United States qualifies for the team competition finals — which it is expected to do — as well as the individual event finals for which Biles qualifies.

Biles is expected to fare well on the vault, floor exercises and balance beam. She is also the top contender in the all-around competition. The only question is whether she will qualify for the finals in each event and whether she will be able to outdo Suni Lee and her other teammates on the uneven bars to earn her way into that event.

Below is a full, day-by-day breakdown of Biles' potential gymnastics schedule for the 2024 Olympics.

What events will Simone Biles compete in at Olympics?

Gymnastics fans will have a better idea of the events Biles will target after qualifying. That said, there are six potential competitions in which she will participate. They are as follows:

    • Team competition
    • All-around
    • Vault
    • Floor exercises
    • Balance beam
    • Uneven bars

Biles will participate in each of the first four events listed, barring a disaster in qualifying or an injury. She seems likely to make the beam final after earning bronze at each of the last two Olympic Games as well, so that may be on her list.

The uneven bars are arguably Biles' weakest event, so if she sits one event out, it would likely be this one. This may be a spot where Biles lets Lee and her other teammates — Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles — compete to show out and battle for medals.

Either way, expect to see plenty of Biles throughout the week-plus of women's gymnastics action.
