Rainy Day Sports Wrap for July 26th

RUSTON, La. ( KTVE/KARD ) — One sleep away from the Wilbert Ellis Free Baseball Camp in Ruston.

A number of Grambling baseball greats will be back in town teaching the game to the youth–including former major leaguers Ralph Garr and Gary Eave.

The great Wilbert Ellis says this camp was started years ago not only to introduce the youth to the game of baseball–but also to put them on a positive path.

“We feel that once we start doing what we are doing with our camps, we’re going to have them going back to church, we’re going to have them back in school, dropout rates are going to be different.”
