    Top Palm Beach County professionals, business people on the move for the week of July 28

    In our weekly list of business people on the move, we highlight Palm Beach County professionals who are making a difference. These are people from across the spectrum of public and private endeavors, those working in charities, court houses, private practices and beyond. They are moving up within their industry, advancing their careers and standing out for their services within our community.

    Amerant Bank names Palm Beach County market president

    Amerant Bank, with a growing presence across South Florida, has named Jesse Flowers new market president for Palm Beach County. Flowers, an integral part of the financial services industry in the Palm Beach market, brings over two decades of experience in banking. Prior to joining Amerant, Flowers served as the regional president for SouthState Bank, where he demonstrated leadership and a commitment to fostering strong client connections. Amerant recently received approval to open its third banking center and first regional office in the Palm Beach market located at 525 Okeechobee Boulevard in CityPlace. The office and banking center are expected to open in the first quarter of 2025.

    Community Foundation adds three board members

    The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, a nonprofit organization that leads partnerships with donors, nonprofit organizations, and community members to solve the region’s chronic and emerging issues, recently announced the appointment of Marti M. LaTour , Kevin Powers , and Kenneth West II to its board of directors. LaTour of Gulf Stream is director of marketing for The A.I.D. Group, a wealth management firm, as well as a limited partner of Belle Capital, LP, a women’s angel fund that invests in women-owned or run start-up companies. Powers of Stuart is a partner and principal broker at Indiantown Realty Corporation. West of West Palm Beach is president and CEO of HCA Florida JFK Hospital, located in Atlantis.

    Specializing in real estate, finance, attorney joins Boca-based firm

    Boca Raton-based Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann recently announced that Jake Schulman has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Schulman focuses his practice on transactional commercial and residential real estate, real estate development, and finance, as well as business transactions and contracts.     Youth support group Vita Nova adds philanthropist to board

    Vita Nova has announed that Denise S. Fraile has joined the nonprofit’s board of directors. Fraile is the founder of Verati Design Group, a boutique consulting firm that specializes in branding and business strategy for middle-market clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. West Palm Beach-based Vita Nova is a safe bridge to independence for former foster care, LGBTQ, and other homeless youth through supportive housing, education, employment, and life skills training.

    Property management firm earns sixth accreditation

The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for home watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada.     Attorneys at West Palm firm recognized by Florida Super Lawyers
