WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• ALERT DAY: Thursday afternoon/early evening
• Heat and humidity coming to an end
• Scattered showers/storms next week

PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS: A low pressure system is going to be moving through Wisconsin throughout Thursday afternoon, bringing a round of showers, storms, and possibly a few severe thunderstorms. All severe weather hazards are going to be possible but strong winds and heavy rain will be the main threats. A brief, weak tornado can not be ruled out as well, especially along the cold front. The threat for showers and storms will continue overnight Thursday into early Friday but the severe weather threat will end between 9-11pm Thursday.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : Friday and Saturday look to be the last hot and humid days, with morning fog possible Saturday and Sunday morning. Temperatures will cool off/become more seasonal throughout next week with scattered chances for showers and thunderstorms as well.
