Stores are already getting ready for fall and Halloween. And regardless of how you feel about that, it’s nice to have a lot of new sweatpants and cozy clothes to sift through at your favorite stores. Plus, sweats are great year-round if you have enough AC to keep the heat from taking you out. Old Navy ’s new cargo sweatpants are definitely a must-have for the fall months coming up and they look just like an Athleta style almost three times the price.

The sweats in question are Old Navy’s Extra High-Waisted SoComfy Cargo Sweatpants , which are currently $39.99 and fairly new; they only have 21 ratings and reviews so far. The pair of sweats has a loose fit and, as its name suggests, it is extra high-waisted (one inch higher than a standard high rise, according to the site). These pants have a straight thigh and leg and flap cargo pockets on the thighs. They also have on-seam pockets, which makes them even more desirable because who doesn’t love more pocket space?

They’re made from 90% cotton and 10% recycled polyester, giving them a “soft fleece” feel and validating the “SoComfy” in their name. Like any good sweatpants, they also have an elastic drawstring waistband. Old Navy’s cargo sweatpants come in three colors, Dark Bottle (dark forest green), Black Jack and Heather Gray. The pants have a size range of XS through 4X and come in regular, tall and petite sizing.

Even though there aren’t a ton of reviews yet, the ones we do have are pretty promising.

“Very comfortable good quality material,” one shopper wrote. “Cargo sweats are comfortable and long in length just what I wanted. Look forward to purchasing another color.”

Another person wrote that “this fit will change your life” because of how comfortable and cute they are. And one shopper went so far as to ask the important question: “Where have these pants been all my life?!”

“I have no idea why I never knew until recently that Old Navy pants are on top with tall girls!!” they continued in their review. “The fabric feels AMAZING, they look AMAZING and the price for the quality is unmatched!! I NEED these in more colors please Old Navy!!”

    Athleta

The $40 Old Navy cargo sweats look a lot like Athleta’s Retroterry High Rise Wide Leg Cargo Pant , sold for $109. Athleta's style has a loose fit with straight legs and thighs. They also have a drawstring waistband, flap cargo pockets and regular side pockets, and they come in grey heather, navy, black and magnolia white (which is on sale at the time of reporting).

There are some key differences, though. For instance, Athleta’s pants have an “internal snap-button closure” on the back of each hem to adjust the length. They’re also made with slightly different materials: 57% cotton, 37% polyester and 6% spandex.

So if you want some high-quality sweatpants with lots of pockets, Old Navy’s Extra High-Waisted SoComfy Cargo Sweatpants are a good product to try out.
