While Stephen Curry and Steve Kerr will highlight Team USA on the basketball court in Paris, another member of the Golden State Warriors is in Paris to represent his country in basketball.

2022 second-round pick Gui Santos suited up for Brazil on Saturday morning to open the group stage of the Olympic Games against host country France. The French roster is loaded with NBA talent, including Victor Wembanyama, Rudy Gobert, Evan Fournier, Bilal Couilbaly, Nicolas Batum and Frank Ntililkina.

Although Brazil took an early lead, the duo of Wembanyama and Batum pushed France to a 78-66 victory on Saturday morning. Wembanyama and Batum each scored 19 points against Brazil.

Santos played 24 minutes off the bench against France, scoring nine points on 2-of-5 shooting from the field with three steals, three assists and two boards.
