Simone Biles was dominant in her return to the Olympics, though her performance wasn't flawless, especially after her injury .

While some fans didn't notice it, Biles had a stumble and misstep during the opening of her floor exercise. This came after the 27-year-old gymnast suffered an injury prior to the routine.

Despite the misstep, Biles was only deducted 0.1 point for it. She finished the floor routine with a great score of 14.6, according to The Athletic.

While it's only a minor error from Biles, it definitely stood out considering how flawless she was to start the event. The four-time Olympic gold medalist went viral after an incredible display on the balance beam that earned her 14.733.

For what it's worth, Simone Biles' injury hasn't really deterred her from dominating the women's qualification. At the time of writing, Biles has tallied a score of 59.566 to lead the all-around leaderboard, well ahead of second-placed USA teammate Sunisa Lee (56.132).

As for Biles' injury, USA Gymnastics coach Cecile Landi confirmed that it is a minor calf problem that she suffered a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it flared up during the warmups. The good news is that there hasn't been any discussion about Biles potentially withdrawing, per Emily Giambalvo of the Washington Post.
