Key benefits of sunflower seeds include their antioxidant properties, which can combat cancer cells, and their role in supporting mental health. They can act as a natural treatment for stress, anxiety, and depression while also enhancing memory and cognitive functions. Sunflower seeds are rich in vitamin E, folic acid, and B vitamins, providing essential nutrients for overall health.

However, excessive consumption of sunflower seeds can lead to weight gain and skin issues, especially when salted excessively. Moderation is key, with a recommended daily intake of up to 30 grams. Overall, sunflower seeds can be a valuable addition to a balanced diet when consumed in appropriate amounts.
