Jon Rahm's Latest Emotional Outburst on LIV Golf Tour Draws Major Backlash on Social Media

Does anyone think that Jon Rahm is having fun at this point?

Since his controversial decision to leave the PGA Tour after last season and join the LIV Golf Tour, things haven't been going so great. His game has fallen off of a cliff, he's backing out of major tournaments due to injury, and his entire demeanor seems to be as low as we've seen in a long time.

Week after week, it feels like we are seeing Rahm's infamous short temper come out a bit more during his rounds. A few weeks ago, it was an expletive-laced tirade that went viral on social media when a LIV Golf drone camera was hovering over him during his backswing, causing an errant shot. This week, Rahm lashed out at a fan in the crowd at an event for being unruly while he was trying to focus.

While Rahm was visibly upset, it was his caddie, Adam Hayes, who did a lot of the talking for the golfer.

"Yell on our f**king backswing, you dickhead,” Hayes yelled at the fan.

Of course, social media isn't going to be the place for Rahm to find comfort amongst understanding fans. When most people saw this, their first reaction was to chastize the former PGA star because this was his choice to follow the money to go over to LIV in the first place.

Now, he must deal with the repercussions of his actions.

There is expected to be some more clarification on the expected merger between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf Tour in the coming months, but until then, I have a feeling we are going to get several more sad shots of Jon Rahm as he struggles to come to grips with the reality that he has created for himself.
