Trent Alexander-Arnold has shown off his incredible body transformation as rumors of a move to Real Madrid continue to swirl.

The Liverpool right-back has been strongly linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer after entering the final 12 months of his contract, although the Reds are reportedly confident that the situation is under control.

Alexander-Arnold is yet to link up with the rest of the squad on their pre-season tour of the United States after being given an extended period of leave following his Euro 2024 involvement with England, but that hasn't stopped him from keeping in tip-top shape ahead of his return.

While the 25-year-old has been spotted enjoying his summer with England teammate and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham , it appears there has been no let up in his desire to hit the ground running ahead of the new season.

Taking to Instagram to update his followers, the defender uploaded a series of photos of him training in the Los Angeles heat, where he is currently enjoying his holiday. What was particularly noticeable in the snaps, however, was Alexander-Arnold's physical appearance, which is looking better than ever.

Going shirtless in the photos, the academy graduate can be seen running and doing some ball work, with his ripped physique clearly on show. It certainly appears he has improved on his fitness since last season, especially from a muscular point of view.

Alexander-Arnold has clearly been putting in the work and many fans were quick to point out his drastic transformation, too, with one person describing it as "unbelievable" and another stating he had been clearly "bulking up" ahead of the new season.

However, Reds fans will be hoping that he has been training with Liverpool in mind, and not Real Madrid. The England international continues to be linked with a move to the Spanish capital this summer but it was recently reported that he has already held talks with new boss Arne Slot .

Asked whether he was worried about Alexander-Arnold’s contract situation during the US tour, Slot wasn’t prepared to give anything away .

"My answer will probably be a bit boring, I think it is the same answer you have heard in the last five, six, seven years,” Slot said. “That contract situation is not discussed at this place, but just keep trying I would say!"
