FOZZY Reaches Another Milestone

FOZZY has charted several Top 20 hits and garnered numerous accolades since forming some 25 years ago. Most notably the band earned a platinum album for “Judas,” which is no small feat in a modern music industry that prioritizes streaming over physical album sales.

Earlier this year, AEW star Britt Baker revealed that she loved one of the band’s deep cuts . “FOZZY fans this is for you,” Baker said. “We have been sleeping on a low key banger of a song that I just found last night when I was at the gym. I looked down, I was like ‘Who is this?’ FOZZY! Texted Chris, and was like, ‘Chris, where has this song been?’ Why have I heard ‘Judas’ 900,000 times but this f*cking banger we’re sleeping on? What is going on?”

She continued as the song played: “Like are you kidding me? Who would’ve thought?”

The song Baker was referring to is “Army Of One” from the band’s most recent album, “Boombox. The tune, however, is becoming much less of a deep cut now that more people are clearly discovering it.

Singer Chris Jericho revealed: “Stoked to have our @fozzyrock EIGHTH Top 20 hit, as #ArmyOfOne is in at NUMBER 16 on the #SMR Mainstream Rock Charts! Thank to all who have listened and requested the song at your local rock radio station. Let’s keep it going and get to TOP TEN next!!”

It was previously announced that FOZZY will once again perform as part of “All In” weekend when the band plays at the O2 Forum on Aug. 23. Joining them as direct support will be AEW champion Swerve Strickland and Flash Garments. The duo will perform their first concert as a rap duo in the UK.
