Lady Gaga has confirmed she's engaged to her longtime boyfriend while at the 2024 Olympics .

The Just Dance singer let the news slip when she introduced him to the French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal while at the games where she performed at the opening ceremony. She has been romantically linked to Michael Polansky, an entrepreneur and tech investor, since 2020.

In a TikTok video posted by the prime minister, Gaga can be heard telling him that Michael was "my fiance." In the nine-second video, the 38-year-old donned an oversized red white and blue Team USA jacket and black sunglasses over her eyes.

Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail as she hugged the prime minister and then introduced him to Michael who is slightly blocked by Gaga but wearing a black baseball hat. The meeting took place at one of the Parisian arenas where a swimming competition was taking place.

"Thank you Lady Gaga for your stunning performance at the Opening Ceremony. It was breathtaking," Prime Minister Attal captioned the video. Gaga performed near the River Seine in a pre-recorded segment for the ceremony.

She sang in French and played piano while being flanked by her dancers wearing all black and holding bright pink fluffy pom poms. The performance divided fans, with most of the reviews on social media not favorable for the Paparazzi singer.

"The Lady Gaga performance at the #Olympics opening ceremony is sooo bad.. who thought it was a good idea to perform cabaret at the olympics," one fan wrote on X, formally known as Twitter. Another fan added: "Where are the French artists? Lol"

But others enjoyed the performance, with one writing: "What a talented woman @ladygaga is."

Gaga took to Instagram after the performance, writing: "I feel so completely grateful to have been asked to open the Paris @Olympics 2024 this year. I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organizing committee to sing such a special French song-a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theatre."

"This song was sung by Zizi Jeanmaire, born in Paris a French ballerina, she famously sang "Mon Truc en Plumes" in 1961. The title means "My Thing with Feathers. " And this is not the first time we've crossed paths. Zizi starred in Cole Porter's musical "Anything Goes" which was my first jazz release. (sic)," the caption continued.

Michael and Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, were first photographed kissing four years ago at New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas. Then during the Super Bowl that year, the two attended the game together and Gaga shared a photo of the two on a yacht in Miami - making them Instagram official.

The entrepreneur has attended various events with his now-fiancee from when she played Joe Biden's inauguration in 2021 to when she made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live in 2023.
