Taylor Swift Sends Subtle Message to Simone Biles During Paris Olympics

Taylor Swift has always been a big fan of U.S. gymnast Simone Biles and is ready to cheer her on again at the Paris Olympics.

The singer shares a special connection to the Summer Games, with NBC using her hit 2017 song "Ready for It" in a promotional video for the games. Swift commented on the video, taking to her Instagram stories to share her excitement about the start of the Paris Olympics.

“So ready to scream at my TV cheering for these athletes 🏅 ,” Swift wrote while sharing a clip of the video.

But there is one athlete in particular who has caught Swift's attention. Biles uses "Ready for It" in her floor routine and Taylor shared her excitement about it when NBC shared a video of it on X last month.

"Watched this so many times and still unready. She’s ready for it tho," Swift wrote

The singer has been a fan of Biles for years now. Back in 2021, after Biles had to withdraw from several events at the Tokyo Olympics, Swift shared a tribute and Biles responded that it made her cry.

"I cried watching YOU," Swift replied on X . "I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you."
