USA gymnast Simone Biles has officially started her 2024 Paris Olympics journey. On Sunday, Biles, along with Jordan Chiles, Sunisa Lee, Hezly Rivera, and Jade Carey, took part in the women's artistic team gymnastics qualifiers and recorded the most points with 172.296.

Biles, despite sustaining a lower leg injury during warmups, recorded the most points out of all participants in the women's vault (15.3) and women's floor (14.6). She also has the most total points of any individual performer, with 59.566.

Biles is continuing her greatness from previous Olympics and has the world talking, including musical icon Beyoncé, who gave her take on Biles in her recent USA intro video.

"I know you know my girl Simone. Born to fly. Destined to inspire," Beyoncé said.

Biles is already a four-time gold medalist in the Olympics and is looking to add to that after a stellar performance on Sunday.

All four of Biles' gold medals came at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. She did participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, but withdrew due to what she called the "twisties."
