Simone Biles Left Stephen A. Smith Stunned After Olympics Display

Simone Biles entered the 2024 Paris Olympics with plenty of hype and excitement around her. However, she tweaked her calf and raised concerns about whether she could still perform at a high level.

But she squashed those concerns on Sunday during the qualifying round. Biles began with a 14.600 score on the floor, and then she did the vault and performed the Yurchenko double pike.

Biles ended up finishing with scores of 14.733 on the beam and 14.333 on the uneven bars, resulting in first place with an overall score of 59.566.

Sports personality Stephen A. Smith was left stunned by Biles' performance on the big stage as he posted on X (formerly Twitter).

It was quite the performance from Biles, who put any possible injury concerns to bed.

Moreover, it reminded everybody why she is at the top of the sport, and Stephen A.'s reaction is basically the same as everybody else—amazed at the spectacle Biles is putting on.

Team USA is a heavy favorite for the gold medal, and after Sunday's performance, it shouldn't be a surprise.

The team finals are on Tuesday night, and once again, all eyes will be on Biles.
