Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian Episode 4 recap

The episode starts with Kuze and Masha returning to the student council office, where the president thanks him for helping and asks him to join the student council officially. However, Kuze rejects the offer, saying he isn’t worthy of it as he has no real goals. Touya tells him that isn’t important and tells Kuze he only became student council president to win over the vice president. Kuze is stunned by the confession and decides to think about it. Later, he asks about Alya.

However, the president tells him she is settling a dispute about the field between the baseball and basketball teams. Meanwhile, Alya struggles to control both teams as neither side chooses to back down. She is too nervous to ask for help, and the added pressure results in her asking for help in Russian.

Masachika arrives and helps her settle the dispute, further apologizing to Alya for interfering. They meet up with the student council president, who had planned for Masachika to help Alya. Masachika then accepts the offer to join the student council. While walking Alya back home, he promises to make her president and stand beside her so she won’t be alone.

Growing emotional, she tells him she loves him in Russian, stunning Masachika. However, Alya slaps him in the face after realizing he was thinking of another girl. He walks her home, and she kisses his cheek, further confusing him. The episode ends with Masha warning Alya to confess or he will be stolen away from her.
