The Team USA gymnastics squad is preparing to earn a gold medal at the Paris Olympics. Simone Biles' outstanding performance had everybody stunned, then Suni Lee made her mark and also earned a trip to the all-around final.

In doing so, the pair made Olympic history, marking the first time in history that two teammates will compete in the all-around final.

Biles was the 2016 all-around champion in Rio, and Lee was the champion in 2020. Now, they will both compete in the event.

Lee had a must-see bar routine that ended up earning her a spot in the final. Meanwhile, Biles overcame an injury scare to put together an impressive run. Team USA will also compete in the team finals on Tuesday night.

In the qualifying round, Biles finished with a 59.566 score, while Lee finished with a 56.132. Fellow USA teammate Jordan Chiles finished in fourth with a score of 56.065, but due to the two-per-country rule, she won't be able to participate in the event on Thursday to try to take home the gold medal.
