Paris 2024 Olympics medal table: How many golds, silvers and bronzes have Team GB and USA won?

THE Paris 2024 Olympics is well underway with both Team GB and USA vying to win gold medals every day.

GB finished fourth in the standings three years ago in Tokyo with 22 gold medals and 65 in total.

But it was USA who came out on top with a whopping 39 golds from 113 medals.

In six of the last seven Olympics the USA have finished top of the medal standings, with China coming out on top in their home games in Beijing 16 years ago.

Paris has been an entertaining watch so far and plenty of medals have been given out already, but Team GB are still chasing their first gold.

Team GB have won four medals so far but are yet to win a gold therefore are still not in the top 10.

Adam Peaty won silver in the 100m breaststroke while Anna Henderson also picked up second place in the cycling time trial.

Japan lead the way alongside Australia but hosts France, USA and China aren’t too far behind.
