Listed as 6-foot-1, Perry made noise at several camps and 7-on-7 this offseason. With the trust from his teammates and coaches, Perry is in for a huge year with this Trojans group.
Kingston Preyear
Montgomery Catholic, Fr.
Analysis: Entering his first season with Knights, there is huge upside to this young quarterback. Listed as 6-foot-3, Preyear is coming to a loaded Catholic team looking to repeat as state champions. With praise already from coaches and scouts around the area, Preyear will be highly touted prospect in the River Region this fall.
Terrell Russell Jr.
Carver, Sr.
Analysis: After throwing 25 passing touchdowns last season, there is huge buzz surrounding Russell after receiving multiple college offers during the offseason. Now with a loaded 2024 roster, Russell has all the intangibles to lead this Wolverine group to a deep postseason run.
Christian Snipes
Alabama Christian, Jr.
Analysis: Listed at 6-foot-2, the duo of Snipes and running back AC Walters are expected to turn heads this fall with the Eagles. After playing mostly on defense last year, Snipes will give ACA a much larger look under center.
David Whisenhunt
Montgomery Academy, Jr.
Analysis: With Montgomery Academy searching for its quarterback of the future, Whisenhunt is a player competing for that starting spot. Showcasing his athletic abilities on defense last season at linebacker and safety, a move to quarterback would not be surprising.
