V Channels Rebrands As Insurgence And Sets Action-Drama ‘Blow For Blow’ Featuring UFC & MMA Fighters

EXCLUSIVE: V Channels has rebranded as Insurgence and moved into principal photography in Los Angeles on the action-drama Blow for Blow , the first movie produced under the new brand.

Blow for Blow follows a former gangster turned restaurant chef whose son gets caught up with his ex-mafia partners, forcing him back to the underworld where he must face trials of life and death to save his family. The film’s cast features several MMA and UFC fighters, including Jean Machado, Caleb Caldwell, Paulo Henrique Costa, Lokeman Issad, Carolla Parmejano, Yasamina Kabisch, and Cezar Galvao.

A co-production with OffGrid Creative + Content, Blow for Blow marks the directorial debut of veteran martial arts champion and trainer Rigan Machado.

Insurgence founder and CEO Niccolo Messina today said he launched the outfit as an independent studio integrating production, distribution, and exhibition exclusively for the digital domain. The company will also maintain the V Channels brand for its YouTube channel and the ongoing production of V Channel Originals. Launched in 2019, V Channels Branded YouTube Network has launched more than 150 original movies and 60 documentaries.
