Tower of God Season 2 Episode 4 Recap & Spoilers

Tower of God Season 2 Episode 4 was released on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 7 a.m. PST. The episode “Ramen and The Great Big Sky” focuses on the match between Jue Viole Grace and Proctor Love.

The episode starts with Proctor Love revealing that Fug killed his parents. He asks Viole why he joined Fug. However, Viole tells him he is looking for someone. Love asks if it’s for revenge, but Viole tells him he won’t know until he sees them. Meanwhile, Yihwa is attacked by an assailant working for Prince. The episode also shows Kim Lurker and Robdevil betraying Prince.

What happened in Tower of God Season 2 Episode 4?

Nia Betrays Wangnan

Following Yihwa’s attack at the hands of the masked assailant named Tan, Wangnan and his team were able to secure their fifth room. He calls Nia to deliver the news, but Kim Lurker answers. Wangnan asks how he got into the room.

However, Lurker revealed that Nia had opened the door for him. Nia tells Wngnan his story about entering the 20th floor and being betrayed by his comrades for being weak. However, an old woman saved him, and he gave up climbing to help her.

Unfortunately, she owed money to Kim Lurker, who offered to help her in exchange for clearing her debt. He sorrowfully apologizes to Wang-nan for betraying him. However, Wang-nan comforts him and tells him he understands since he did it to save someone.

Lurker then reveals that he had no intention of clearing the old woman’s debt, and Nia lunged at him. However, he is captured by Lurker and beaten to death while Wang-nan listens. Wang-nan runs out of the room, telling his teammates it isn’t over.

Jue Viole Grace vs. Proctor Love

Following Nia’s death, the episode focuses on Violes’ battle with Proctor Love. Love tells him this is his last chance to catch the connector if he loses the game. He launches at him and goes to block Viole’s path. However, the slayer candidate can surprise the instructor by imitating his move.

Despite Love’s initial surprise, he can gain the upper hand by stopping time. However, Wang-nan appears and seizes the connector. He asks Viole to help him take out Lurker in exchange for the connector. Love tries to seize it from him, but he stops after hearing of Nia’s death.

The Battle Against Kim Lurker

Following Wang-nan’s proposal to Viole, the episode shifts its attention to Lurker, who arrives in front of Prince’s room with a hypnotized Yihwa. Lurker commands Rob to kill Prince. However, his plans are interrupted by Horyang, who arrives just in time.

Lurker then commands Yihwa to burn Horyang, but Viole arrives to destroy the bug controlling her. Prince manages to get away from Robdevil and opens the door for Horyang to enter. Horyang asks Viole to let him handle Rob while he goes after Lurker.

Horyang defeats Rob after revealing his devilish right arm. Meanwhile, Wangnan confronts and attacks him for what he did to Nia. Lurker tells him that everything was his chairman’s fault, as he was also betrayed and used like Nia, which is why he wants to kill Prince.

However, Wangnan refuses to kill him and decides to forgive him. He tells Lurker he will change the tower so things like this don’t happen again. Later, Wangnan and Viole talk on the terrace, and Viole asks why he forgave him. Wangnan tells him it’s because he’s no different, as he may do some unsavory things while climbing the tower. The episode ends with Khun sitting down.
