Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4 recap

Oshi no Ko season 2 episode 4, “Emotional Acting,” begins with Abiko attending the theater play to which Aqua had given her tickets. After watching the play, she understands the intricacies of scriptwriting and agrees to let GOA work on the script. However, she states the condition to work directly with GOA, and Raida arranges a team video call over which Abiko and GOA collaboratively work on the script overnight.

After Lalalai receives the script, the actors seem happy, but Melt and Aqua struggle with the transformed script as the storytelling relies on the actors’ performances. When Kana shares acting tips with Aqua, she mentions inducing realism in acting by imagining one’s dying mother.

The statement triggers Aqua’s memories of Ai, leading to a panic attack. While Aqua rests in Taishi Gotanda’s apartment, the latter shares a glimpse of Aqua’s trauma with Akane. Later, as Akane watches Aqua mutter Ai’s name in his sleep, she connects the dots and realizes his connection with the late idol. When Aqua wakes up, he finds Akane weeping.
