    Seven Sisters: Man charged with attempted murder after Tube station stabbing

    A 20-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing at a north London Tube station .

    Milumo Pedrinho, 20, has been charged after a British Transport Police investigation into the incident at Seven Sisters station on July 23.

    He is accused of the attempted murder of Ervin Baraku, as well as allegedly possessing a knife in a public place.

    Pedrinho, from Stonebridge Road, Tottenham, appeared at Highbury Corner magistrates court on Monday morning.

    He was remanded in custody until a further hearing at the Old Bailey on August 27.

    Police were called to the incident at Seven Sisters station at around 08.45am last Tuesday after reports of a “serious assault”.

    The force said the injured man, who is in his 30s, was hospitalised with "life-threatening injuries consistent with being stabbed".

    A 15-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and was released on police bail.

    An 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were also arrested and then released without charge.

    British Transport Police announced the charge on Monday morning, having arrested Pedrinho on Saturday at a property in Harlow, Essex.
