DETROIT — Oh, you thought the Guardians and Tigers couldn't possibly play more games against each other in a short amount of time? Well buckle up.
The Guardians travel to Detroit to face the Tigers in a short, two-game series at Comerica Park, meaning they will have played each other 10 times in a 23-day span. The Tigers lead the mini-series 5-3 in July entering Monday's game.
Major League Baseball's trade deadline is fast approaching Tuesday night, which will put that day's game in an odd position with so much going on around the league while they're on the field.
