“Let’s get ready for fooooootbaaaaaallll,” he shouted to end the segment in a nod to his famous catchphrase “let’s get ready to rumble.”

The show has been on a four-month hiatus after moving from its old New York studio to California .

Fans were delighted that their mornings were blessed with GMFB again.

“This @gmfb intro with Michael Buffer has me ready to run through a wall at 8 am,” commented one.

“Let’s Get Ready to Ruuuumble!!!! Welcome back @gmfb,” added another.

“That was a dope intro,” a third replied.

“What a start! You guys on air at 5am… my gawd, you’re all very dedicated. Now we have everything we need for all things NFL to start our day. Congrats,” a fourth commented.

“Welcome back, y’all were missed,” a fifth posted.

Brandt had teased a throwback to GMFB’s final show in New York, where he finished wearing an “I love New York” hoodie.

He joked that he had run from coast to coast all summer like Forrest Gump.

He began today on the ground in the same hoodie before getting up, ripping it off, and revealing a Los Angeles Rams jersey.

The changes did not stop there as Grammy-winning artist Melissa Etheridge recorded a new version of the theme song.

Current hosts Jamie Erdahl , Brandt, and Peter Schrager were joined by new additions Akbar Gbajabiamila and Sherree Burruss.

Buffer stuck around for a while to take the show in and out of breaks.

News reporter Burruss got her intro before her first segment.

Good Morning Football's relaunch and return on July 29 was confirmed by NFL Network to coincide with training camp.

The morning show went off air in March ahead of a major shake-up and move to Los Angeles.

Jamie Erdahl made the cross-country switch from New York to continue fronting the show.

Her former partners Kyle Brandt and Peter Schrager will join her, but they will split their time between New York and Los Angeles.

Sherree Burruss and Akbar Gbajabiamila were confirmed as new additions to the revamped show.

She looked delighted with her new role as she talked viewers through key training camp interviews.

Josh Allen and Derrick Henry featured as Burruss suggested both could produce some Angry Runs this season.

Brandt, 45, promised fans they would not be disappointed before the show aired.

“The second that first topic comes up and we scream out, ‘The Lead Block,’ and then we’re off to talking about whoever’s training camp, it’s going to be like, ‘Oh, it’s Good Morning Football in a bigger studio,'” Brandt told Deadline .

“That’s my reassurance. We didn’t break it. We’re not going to change it.

“Once the talking starts, you’re gonna get real familiar with it fast.”
