Lainey Wilson Shares Teaser Of Unreleased Song With Miranda Lambert, “Good Horses”

A powerhouse duo. Lainey Wilson is gearing up to release a new album Whirlwind in August, which features a song called "Good Horses" she wrote alongside her friend Miranda Lambert . They previously teased it at a live show when Lainey headlined two nights in Nashville, and over the weekend, she teased a little bit of what sounds like the unreleased studio version. It's layered over video from the live performance, but you can tell by the difference in sound quality that it's a professional studio recording, as the ladies sing about wanting to be in a relationship where they can also be free, because "good horses come home": "If you wanna love me you don't need a rope You just need to know I don't need a compass I don't need a saddle Let go of the reigns baby let me unravel If you wanna love me you don't need a rope You just need to know Good horses come home" It has a unique but catchy melody, and Lainey says she "can't wait" for fans to get to hear the full song on the new record: "Can’t wait to share this one with y’all." Whirlwind is due out everywhere next month, on August 23rd, and I think this will be a fan-favorite and quick hit should it ever find its way to country radio.
